Your pay ladder.

How pay works here: Vail publishes lane minimums and a new-hire experience-credit placement table (years 1-8), not a career step grid, so no top-of-scale salary is published.

Schedule notes

2026-2027 Certified Salary Guide (Vail School District #20, approved 6/2/2026, effective 7/1/2026), text PDF. Lanes: BA, BA+15/30/45, MA, MA+15/30/45. Starts are the lane minimums (BA $50,369; MA $54,372; BA+45 $53,371; MA+45 $57,376), up $1,500 for 26-27. New hires are placed by the New Hire Placement table: years of experience credit (1-8, with credit of $150 up to $1,900), step 0 = minimum; BA and MA columns only, and it is a hiring guide, not a continuing step schedule, so max fields are null. 187-day contract. Minimum pay includes $10,790 of Prop 301 funding and $300 of Prop 202 funds; separate Prop 301 performance payment $1,400 and evaluation incentive $1,500. No doctorate lane. Enrollment is the figure from allk12.com's Arizona largest-districts ranking (NCES-based; school year not stated on the page), used because the ADE October 1 LEA file could not be fetched.
